An assortment of British utilitarian stoneware vessels, primarily comprising small preserve and jam jars. The collection is dominated by cylindrical jars with pronounced rims and rounded shoulders, finished in a glossy ginger-brown glaze typical of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The group also includes several jars in a natural buff stoneware with a semi-matte finish and one small jar with a white glaze. Two bottles are included: one of rectangular form with a short neck and a larger bottle with a traditional mottled salt-glaze finish. No maker’s marks or capacity stamps are visible on any of the items. A small white adhesive label with the printed number 1704 is present on one jar.
