A vintage artist’s relief painting set housed in a rectangular wooden case with a red-brown textured faux-crocodile skin exterior and metal hardware. The interior is divided into compartments containing an assortment of small metal paint tubes, multiple glass vials filled with various coloured metallic powders, and several pieces of paper ephemera. A printed paper insert fixed to the inner lid is titled METALLIC POWDER for RELIEF PAINTINGS and features a crown trademark with the letters C B H. A separate handwritten note is inscribed Gold leaf. Several of the metal tubes also bear the C & B H mark and list various colours including Yellow, Noir, and Blanc. Two larger cylindrical tubes in the central section are labelled for WINSOR & NEWTON LONDON and designated as SILVER and GOLD.
