A collection of decorative ceramic wares and novelty tableware. The assortment includes two lidded butter dishes on matching underplates, one featuring a dense polychrome floral pattern and the other decorated with floral sprays and a blue and yellow border. The lot contains three decorative plates, including two with wide claret-coloured borders and gilt-effect scrollwork featuring transfer-printed romantic pastoral scenes, and one smaller dish with a similar scene. Also present is a collection of glazed earthenware dishes moulded in the form of ears of corn with textured kernel and husk detailing in cream and pale orange tones. The group is completed by a boxed set of ceramic napkin rings with floral decoration and two lidded trinket boxes, one circular in cobalt blue and one square with floral designs. No manufacturer marks are visible. A white inventory label numbered 1704 is affixed to the interior of one dish.
