A collection of decorative items crafted from polished banded onyx, comprising a pedestal bowl and a group of egg-shaped objects. The pedestal bowl stands 7 inches tall and features a flared rim, a turned baluster stem, and a circular foot. Both the bowl and the accompanying eggs exhibit natural variegated banding in a variety of tones including cream, beige, ochre, brown, and light green. The pieces display the natural fissures and mineral inclusions inherent to the stone. Small white adhesive labels with the handwritten number 1704 are present on the base of the bowl and on several of the eggs, likely representing an inventory or lot number.
