This set comprises four lawn bowls and one jack, manufactured by R.W. Hensell and Sons in Australia under the Henselite brand. The bowls are the Super-Grip Championship model and are finished in black. The material is a heavy composite, likely bakelite, which was standard for mid-20th-century production. The central discs of the bowls are marked Henselite Championship, while the outer rims bear the inscription Made in Australia R.W. Hensell and Sons. The sides of the bowls are incised with Super-Grip. The smaller black jack features a yellow circular inset with the alphanumeric marker V35.
