A small circular reproduction wine table or side table in the William and Mary revival style, dating from the late 20th century. The top features a burr-effect veneer with a central eight-pointed star or compass rose marquetry inlay in a light-coloured wood. It has a bevelled edge and is supported by three spiral-turned barley-twist legs. These legs connect to a tri-lobed platform base which stands on three splayed cabriole-style feet. The entire piece has a high-gloss lacquered finish. The design is visually identical to the Isla model produced by Butler Specialty Company.
