A large collection of children’s books by the British author Enid Blyton, encompassing several of her most popular series. The lot includes numerous titles from The Famous Five series, such as Five on a Treasure Island, Five Go Off in a Caravan, and Five Have a Wonderful Time; several volumes from The Secret Seven; and a selection of works from The Adventure Series, including The Island of Adventure, The Castle of Adventure, and The Circus of Adventure. Also present are titles from The Faraway Tree series, The Wishing-Chair series, and various short story collections including The Little Brown Bear, Snicker the Brownie, The Magic Snow Bird, and The Sneezing Dog. The volumes are produced by various British publishers including Hodder and Stoughton, Dean and Son Ltd, Methuen, Macmillan, Newnes, and Collins, alongside paperback editions from Knight Books and Dragon Books. The books are primarily octavo and duodecimo in size, bound in a mix of publisher’s cloth, pictorial boards, and softcover wrappers. Most of the cloth-bound editions are lacking their original dust jackets.
