A tabletop radio in the cathedral style, designed as a modern solid-state reproduction of designs from the late 1920s. The wooden cabinet features a characteristic arched top, vertical fluted pillars at the base, and a decorative fretwork speaker grille with dark mesh backing. It is fitted with an arched analog frequency dial within an antiqued metal surround embossed with the year 1929. The faceplate includes black plastic control knobs for tone and tuning, and a switch for AM, FM, and AFC bands. Accompanying the radio is a large, round decorative bowl made from clear glass. The bowl features an intricate pattern of starbursts and hobstars, created in the style of American Brilliant cut glass.
Radio: 13 x 12 inches.
