A diverse group of antique and vintage volumes, primarily hardcovers in publisher’s cloth. The collection is anchored by a significant set of The Charles Dickens Library, featuring dark blue cloth bindings with ornate gilt-decorated spines and top edges gilt. Titles in this set include Oliver Twist, Nicholas Nickleby, The Old Curiosity Shop, Barnaby Rudge, Martin Chuzzlewit, Christmas Books, Dombey and Son, David Copperfield, Bleak House, Little Dorrit, A Tale of Two Cities, Great Expectations, Our Mutual Friend, and Christmas Stories, alongside supplementary volumes The Dickens Picture-Book and The Dickens Companion.

Technical and instructional works include two copies of Modern Mining Practice Vol. II by G.M. Bailes (J.H. Bennett & Company, Sheffield) featuring gilt-stamped safety lamps on the spines, Mining Mathematics by Senior (Forrest), and War-Time Gardening (Pearson).
