This lot features a modern longcase clock in a mahogany-style finish, fitted with a 31-day mechanical movement. The dial is composed of a silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals and an outer minute track, with gilt-finish scrollwork spandrels at the corners. The dial arch depicts a globe with the motto Tempus Fugit, and the centre of the dial displays an FR monogram logo above the 31 DAY designation. It is a twin-train movement with two winding holes. The case includes a swan-neck pediment with turned finials and a glazed trunk door revealing brass-toned weights and chains. Accompanying the clock is a vintage dome-top steamer trunk with a black textured exterior, reinforced with bentwood slats and leather hardware. The front of the trunk is hand-painted with the initials J.H.B. K.
