A vintage full-size violin, possibly a European trade instrument from the late 19th or early 20th century. The instrument features a spruce top and a two-piece maple back with a dark reddish-brown varnish finish. The fingerboard and tuning pegs are constructed from ebony or a similar dark-stained hardwood. The violin is fitted with a black chinrest and a tailpiece featuring a single fine tuner. Included is a wooden bow with a frog featuring a mother-of-pearl slide and eye inlay. The instrument is housed in a vintage hard-shell coffin-style case with a green felt-lined interior and a small internal accessory compartment. An orange polishing cloth is also included. No internal labels or maker marks are visible through the f-holes or on the exterior of the instrument or bow.
