A 16-piece collection of Spode earthenware tableware decorated in the Christmas Tree pattern. This iconic design was originally created by Harold Holdway in 1938. The collection consists of eight mugs, four teacups, and four saucers. Each piece features a transfer-printed central motif of a traditional decorated Christmas tree with an assortment of gifts at its base. The items are finished with a distinctive dark green rim. The interior rim of the mugs and teacups is decorated with a sprig of mistletoe, while the saucers are ornamented with sprigs of holly and mistletoe. The base of each piece bears a printed backstamp identifying the maker as Spode and the pattern as Christmas Tree, alongside reference numbers C.1938 and S3324-A12, the manufacturer website, and care instructions stating the items are dishwasher, freezer, and microwave safe. The set is accompanied by original cardboard packaging.
