A vintage stuffed cloth doll depicting a traditional golliwog character. The doll is constructed from sewn fabric and is internally stuffed. The head is made of black cloth with applied black textured fleece hair. Facial features consist of fixed round white and black eye discs and an applied red felt mouth. It is dressed in original clothing comprising a blue cloth jacket, a yellow vest with red felt trim and a single red plastic button, and red and white vertically striped trousers. There are no visible maker’s marks, labels, or tags.
