Two pieces of contemporary studio art glass. The first is a circular, domed paperweight in translucent aquamarine glass. It features internal metallic gold-coloured inclusions and controlled air bubbles, with five circular indentations on the upper surface. The form and decorative technique are highly consistent with the Planet series by studio glass artist Josh Simpson. The second is a teardrop-shaped paperweight with a dark amethyst-coloured core. The core is decorated with an internal white zanfirico or lattice pattern, all encased within a thick layer of clear glass. A small, illegible white adhesive label is present on one side of the teardrop piece. No etched signatures or maker’s marks were identified during inspection.
