A large statement ring featuring an oval abalone shell cabochon set within a silver mount. The abalone shell displays natural iridescence with a play of colour including shades of green, blue, and purple. The stone is secured in a bezel setting atop an ornate, high-relief gallery. The decorative shoulders are embellished with cast floral and foliate designs, specifically featuring a five-petaled flower on each side amongst scrolling leaves and beaded accents. The band is integrated into the decorative structure and tapers towards the back. An illegible rectangular stamp is present on the inner surface of the band.
