A set of decorative drinking vessels presented in a fitted case, comprising a larger central vessel with a flared rim and twin handles, small cylindrical tumblers, and a pair of plain metal tongs. The exterior surfaces of the vessels feature dense, hand-chased foliate and floral scrollwork in a style associated with Middle Eastern or Anglo-Indian metalwork. The items are constructed from a silver-coloured metal; no assay marks, hallmarks, or maker’s marks are visible on the pieces. The set is housed in a rectangular presentation case covered in blue velvet with a matching velvet-lined interior and two brass-toned metal latches. Two small white stickers bearing the number 4738 are present on the exterior lid of the case.
