A quarto-format hardcover photography monograph titled Herbert List: Photographs 1930-1970. This volume was edited by Gunter Metken and includes an introductory essay by Stephen Spender. Published by Thames and Hudson, London, the work contains ninety-two duotone illustrations documenting List’s career from 1930 to 1970, including his surrealist, fashion, and portrait photography. The book is bound in the publisher’s original cloth and is complete with its original pictorial dust jacket, which features a duotone image of a Dalmatian dog on the front cover. The title page includes the publisher’s stylized dolphin and fish logo. Internal plates are printed on heavy paper stock, with one plate captioned 8 Ostsee, 1933.
