A collection of ephemera comprising various postcards, theatrical reproduction currency, and a pocket notebook. The prop currency includes multiple stacks of reproduction banknotes printed on paper. These include United States one hundred dollar bills, Chinese one hundred yuan notes, and Bank of England fifty pound notes. All notes are clearly marked with text including COPY MONEY and FOR MOTION PICTURE PURPOSES. The United States and United Kingdom notes are secured with printed paper bands. The postcards consist of early 20th-century examples, including real photo postcards (RPPCs) and printed cards. Subjects include portraits of female actresses and beauties in Edwardian and Art Deco fashions, some with hand-tinting. Topographical cards depict European landmarks such as the Bonsecours Basilica, the Waterloo L’Aigle Blesse monument, and various cathedral interiors and exteriors. Some cards feature contemporary postage stamps, postmarks, and manuscript messages. Included is a vintage red pocket-sized Telephone, Address and Notebook issued by the Fire Services National Benevolent Fund. The cover is textured with gilt-stamped lettering and the organisation’s crest. A large-format vintage print or postcard featuring a detailed architectural illustration of a Gothic cathedral is also present.
