An assortment of Japanese export ceramics and British advertising and commemorative wares. The collection features several pieces of Japanese moriage Dragonware porcelain, characterized by raised slip decoration depicting dragons against iridescent blue-grey or matt charcoal grounds. This group includes a tall lidded coffee pot, multiple creamers or jugs of varying sizes, and several tea cups with matching saucers. Also included is a single teacup and saucer decorated in a traditional Japanese style with figures and landscapes in iron-red and gilt. The advertising pieces comprise a white earthenware pitcher for The Macallan Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, featuring a transfer-printed illustration of the distillery, and a miniature white ceramic jug displaying a red triskelion symbol above the name Hanningtons. Completing the lot are two Wedgwood porcelain calendar plates for the years 2003 and 2005. The 2003 plate features a floral border representing the seasons, while the 2005 plate displays a celestial zodiac motif. Both plates are presented in their original blue boxes marked Wedgwood England 1759.
