A set of square dust-pressed earthenware tiles dating from the late 19th to early 20th century, attributed to Minton. The tiles are decorated with a complex transfer-printed pattern in a palette of ochre-yellow, grey, black, and white. The central design features a stylized sunflower medallion within concentric circular borders, surrounded by an intricate arrangement of geometric and floral motifs including Greek key patterns, zig-zags, and triangles. This decorative scheme is characteristic of the Neo-Classical and Aesthetic Movement styles popular in British architectural ceramics of the period. No maker marks are visible on the surfaces shown, but the pattern is highly consistent with designs produced by Minton.
Each tile measures approximately 15.2 cm square.
