A collection of Spode earthenware ceramics in the Christmas Tree pattern, featuring the iconic design originally created by Harold Holdway in 1938. The assembly includes a circular serving platter, a deep serving bowl, a lidded teapot, and a scalloped relish dish with a central circular well and four outer compartments. Each piece is decorated with the pattern’s signature transfer-printed central motif of a decorated Christmas tree topped with a figure of Father Christmas and surrounded by a variety of gifts at the base. The designs are further accented with sprigs of holly and finished with a fine green line to the rims. The platter and bowl are contained within their original retail boxes, and the teapot is accompanied by its original cardboard shipping box and protective plastic wrapping. The underside of the pieces bears a black printed backstamp reading Spode Christmas Tree S3324 © 1938.
