This lot comprises two carved green hardstone pendants, each suspended from a black knotted textile cord. The first pendant consists of a rectangular plaque of deep forest green hue with varied translucency, carved in relief with a traditional landscape scene featuring a pagoda amongst mountains and trees. It is mounted with a small cylindrical green bead and a textured gold-toned metal spacer bead. The second pendant is carved from a pale, translucent celadon-toned hardstone in the form of a seated Buddha figure in a meditative pose. It is accented with two small, pale translucent spherical beads. Both cords are constructed from knotted black thread, appearing to be of an adjustable length. No hallmarks or maker’s marks are visible on the hardstone or metal components.
