A United Kingdom Brilliant Uncirculated Coin Collection presentation set issued by The Royal Mint in 2008. The set comprises seven definitive coins in denominations of one penny, two pence, five pence, ten pence, twenty pence, fifty pence, and one pound. The reverse designs, created by Matthew Dent, feature sections of the Royal Shield of Arms which form a composite image when arranged together; the round one-pound coin depicts the complete shield. The coins are struck in various base metals including copper-plated steel, cupro-nickel, and nickel-brass. The collection is housed in its original black card presentation folder which features gold-coloured lettering and an embossed coat of arms. This 2008 issue marks the inaugural year of these definitive designs.
