A modern quartz carriage-style alarm clock by Seiko, Japan. The clock is housed in a rectangular gilt metal case featuring a brushed finish to the top and rear, complemented by black decorative inset panels to the sides. It is surmounted by a brass-tone swing handle and rests on four small ball feet. The dial features a black centre with a gold-tone chapter ring displaying black Roman numerals. It is fitted with gold-tone hour, minute, and sweep second hands, alongside a dedicated alarm indicator hand with a circular terminal. The dial is signed SEIKO to the left and QUARTZ to the right, with JAPAN S at the lower edge. The reverse includes a toggle switch for the alarm, an adjustment knob for the time and alarm, and a sounder aperture.
