A vintage ceramic mannequin display head manufactured in the Soviet Union (USSR). The piece features a stylized female face with minimalist details, including closed eyes with prominent raised fan-shaped eyelashes and a small mouth. It is finished in a uniform matte tan-coloured glaze throughout. The construction suggests it was intended for retail display, such as millinery or jewellery. The underside of the hollow base features two paper labels: a small white circular label printed with MADE IN USSR and a larger red circular label printed with TEKT and ART 40/5. There is an incised number 5 visible in the ceramic body.
