A Noritake porcelain tea service in pattern N928. This set is manufactured from fine porcelain with a cream-coloured ground and transfer-printed decoration of floral sprays, featuring pink roses and small blue and yellow flowers. The rims are decorated with a scrolling border in blue and gold tones and finished with gilded edges. The service includes one lidded teapot, one lidded twin-handled sugar bowl, one cream jug, five teacups, and six matching saucers. The pieces bear a backstamp on the base with the inscription Nippon Toki Kaisha, a central crest, and the Noritake name in cursive script.
