A modern decorative storage case or vanity box featuring a collage design in a retro style. The exterior is covered in a printed canvas material depicting a mid-century pin-up portrait reminiscent of Marilyn Monroe, along with simulated vintage postage stamps and handwritten script in French. Key inscriptions include fragments such as Avenue de la Madeleine, and simulated postmarks for Brisbane Airport dated 23 July and Istanbul Ataturk Havalimani dated 17 04 05. The box is constructed with a rigid frame, finished with brown faux-leather piping and brass-tone metal studs. It features a central buckle latch and a matching top handle. The interior is fully lined with a black textured synthetic fabric and fitted with a metal piano hinge. The name GIRI is printed in the lower right corner of the lid.
