A framed exhibition poster for the Imperial War Museum, London, advertising the exhibition Forces Sweethearts: Wartime Romance from the First World War to the Gulf. The exhibition was held from 12 February to 15 October 1993 in association with Royal Mail International. The poster design commemorates the fiftieth anniversary of the aerogramme and features a photographic pin-up style image of a woman in mid-20th-century lingerie and green heels. The title is printed in a large pink script. The lower portion of the poster contains printed logos for the Imperial War Museum and Royal Mail International, as well as the museum address at Lambeth Road, London, opening hours, and transport information. A small copyright credit for Fox is printed in the lower-right corner of the image area. The poster is presented in a light-coloured wooden frame under glass.
