This lot features two distinct pieces of British ceramics. The first is a commemorative cider mug manufactured by Wade Potteries for the Taunton Cider Company in 1979. The mug has a ribbed exterior, a scalloped rim, and an ornate scrolled handle with gilded highlights. Its decoration consists of floral sprays in the Art Nouveau style, rendered in orange, yellow, and blue tones with green foliage. The base includes a brown script inscription: 500 of these traditional Cider Mugs were reproduced by Wade Potteries for the TAUNTON CIDER COMPANY 1979. The second piece is a cylindrical earthenware vase with a flared pedestal foot and a gilded rim. It is hand-painted with a continuous landscape scene of a windmill beside water, executed in a painterly style with a palette of blues, ochres, and browns. The underside of the base is marked with the number 110.
