A Russian porcelain figurine depicting a Willow Grouse or Ptarmigan, produced by the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory. The bird is modelled in a standing position with its head turned downwards and to the left. The decoration consists of a white body with mottled grey accents to the back and wings, and a warm sienna-brown head and neck detailed with a repeating scalloped pattern. The figurine features characteristic feathered legs and feet. The underside of the right foot bears an orange-brown stamped factory mark featuring the LFZ monogram logo above the words MADE IN RUSSIA.
