This lot consists of three items relating to British military and naval service. The primary piece is a Royal Artillery presentation desk ornament, comprising a gilt-finished cast metal eagle on a black composite base. The base features an engraved white-metal plaque inscribed CAPT MJ RIDDICK RA, INSTRUMENTATION CONTROLLER, RA RANGE HEBRIDES, DEC 82 – JAN 85, marked No 17. Also included is a brushed metal flip-top lighter with an applied enamel badge for HMS Kent, depicting a white horse on a red shield and a blue scroll inscribed H.M.S. KENT. The third item is a Royal Army Service Corps sweetheart brooch in gilt metal and enamel, featuring the RASC badge with a central GR cypher and Garter motto, mounted on a bar with a pin fastening to the reverse.
