An early 20th-century Chinese-style side table or 15-inch standing plant stand, constructed from stained hardwood. The square top features a deeply recessed central panel decorated with a high-relief carving depicting two entwined dragons in a circular motif, set against a stippled ground. This central panel is framed by a raised border with four circular bosses at each corner. The table is raised on four simple square-section legs that taper slightly towards the base. This piece is representative of Anglo-Chinese export wares produced for the Western market during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
Height: 15 inches.
