A mid-20th century oak cupboard of rectangular form, designed in the Jacobean Revival style and attributed to manufacturers such as Wood Bros for their Old Charm range or Jaycee Furniture. This one-piece unit features a rectangular top with a moulded edge over a pair of cupboard doors. Each door is decorated with a recessed panel featuring vertical carved fluted details. The cabinet is fitted with decorative patinated metal butterfly hinges and small circular pull knobs. It is supported on two turned front legs and square-section rear legs, all united by a low-level H-frame stretcher. The oak displays a characteristic coarse grain under a dark-stained finish. No maker’s marks, labels, or stamps are visible on the exterior of the piece.
