A studio craft coffee table constructed from a solid single slab of yew wood. The top displays characteristic live edges and a high contrast between the reddish heartwood and pale sapwood borders. The grain patterns include natural fissures, characterful knots, and a prominent dark knot to one side. The piece is elevated on four splayed and tapered turned wooden legs. The design is in the style of the mid-century Studio Craft movement, comparable to works by George Nakashima or Homestead Woodcraft. A paper lot tag from Doncaster Auction Centre is present beneath the item.
