A set of six miniature glazed ceramic figurines from the Wade Whimsies range, produced for Ringtons Ltd. The collection comprises various wild animals including a giraffe head and neck with spotted markings, a hippopotamus in a blue-grey glaze, a grey rhinoceros, a lion reclining on a green base, a tiger with dark stripes, and a brown gorilla. The items are manufactured from glazed ceramic, associated with the Wade PDM series. The lid of the hexagonal box is printed with the Wade English Collectables logo. Internal card dividers are marked with Wade, pm, Ringtons Ltd, Made in England, and Royal Victoria Pottery. The hippopotamus figure features a raised Made in England mark on the base. Each figurine is individually wrapped in protective plastic film within its respective compartment.
