A Soviet-era Russian lacquer box produced at the Fedoskino Factory. This rectangular papier-mache container features a hinged lid and a traditional red-lacquered interior. The lid is decorated with a hand-painted miniature depicting three deer in a hazy landscape near a body of water, rendered with the luminous oil-based technique and soft palette characteristic of the Fedoskino school. On the right edge of the lid, the Cyrillic signature reads Федоскино (Fedoskino) followed by Левушкин (Levushkin). An accompanying paper label bears the printed Cyrillic text Федоскинская фабрика (Fedoskino Factory) and диплома I степени миниатюрной живописи (Diploma of the 1st degree in miniature painting). The label features handwritten production details including Арт. 117-3 (Article 117-3) and Сорт 1 (Grade 1).
