A young girl in a red dress sits on the porch steps eating a slice of watermelon, next to a small doll. In the background, a young boy is depicted looking over a wooden fence. The yard contains several animals, including a bull, a pig, a goose, and chickens. To the right is a graphic of the brand’s smoking tobacco pouch, which includes text for W.T. Blackwell & Co. and The American Tobacco Co. Successor. The top of the print bears the header Genuine BULL DURHAM SMOKING TOBACCO, and the bottom left corner features the text My! It shure am Sweet Tastan. This piece reflects American advertising styles from the late 19th to early 20th century.
