A vintage electric desk fan featuring a cream-painted stepped circular metal base and a four-blade polished metal rotor. The fan is protected by a silver-tone wire cage with a central circular medallion embossed with a stylized logo for TMW. The medallion is further inscribed with BRIT. PROV. PAT. NO 6827/47 and FOREIGN PAT APPLICATIONS PENDING, dating the design to circa 1947. The fan is fitted with a black power cord and a modern replacement white UK three-pin fused plug.
