Two mid-20th-century novelty ceramic decanters. The first is modelled as a portly gentleman in a dark brown suit and spectacles, with his head serving as a detachable stopper. The second is a figurative decanter depicting a sea captain with a pipe leaning against a lamppost, a design commonly associated with the novelty title All Lit Up. Both items feature high-gloss polychrome glazes. No maker’s marks are visible on either piece.
