A collection of cloth-bound hardcover books, primarily comprising publications from The Folio Society. The group features a diverse range of titles across literature, history, and mythology. Visible titles include The Road to Oxiana by Robert Byron, A Month in the Country by J.L. Carr, The Father Brown Stories by G.K. Chesterton, Nancy Mitford’s Love in a Cold Climate, and Mass-Observation: Britain in the Second World War. The collection also contains two volumes from A History of England by Roy Porter and G.M. Young, The Greek Myths II, The Folio Book of Comic Stories, and Short Stories from the Strand. An older volume, A Short History of English Literature, is also present. Several of the Folio Society editions are housed in their original protective card slipcases.
