Three T.G. Green Gripstand mixing bowls manufactured at the Church Gresley pottery in Derbyshire, England. These items are constructed from cane-coloured earthenware, commonly known as yellowware, featuring cream-coloured glazed interiors. The exterior of each bowl is decorated with a molded relief pattern consisting of stylized diamonds within oval and scalloped borders, finished with a clear glaze over the natural clay body. The Gripstand design incorporates a specific flat, angled section on the exterior wall near the base, which allows the bowl to be tilted and held steady on a work surface during use. Each bowl bears a clear black transfer-printed mark on the base reading: THE GRIPSTAND MIXING BOWL T. G. GREEN & CO. LTD CHURCH GRESLEY MADE IN ENGLAND PATENT No. 491517.
