This collection of ceramics features a variety of tablewares. It includes a large oval white earthenware platter with a central embossed turkey motif and a foliate-moulded border. There are two blue and white transfer-printed items: an oval platter illustrating a landscape scene with a stately home and a lake, and a large rectangular serving tray or platter with a floral and patterned border. The group also contains a pair of character mugs featuring cartoon illustrations labelled Maurice and Tina, with impressed marks for Staffordshire Tableware, Made in England. Completing the lot is a set of fine bone china footed mugs with flared rims, decorated with a stylised Art Nouveau-influenced pattern of pink roses and tulips against a background of green foliage and blue accents. These mugs bear a blue printed mark on the underside with a BN monogram, stating they are fine bone china made in Britain and are microwave and dishwasher safe.
