A large and varied collection of ceramics comprising blue and white transfer-printed earthenware and reticulated creamware. The group includes several pieces in the Burgenland pattern, likely by Villeroy and Boch, such as a two-handled lidded sugar bowl and matching creamers featuring pastoral landscape scenes. The creamware items consist of a pitcher with a reticulated basketweave body and a four-piece cruet set housed in a pierced stand with a central handle. Further items include a blue and white ginger jar with a domed lid decorated in a prunus blossom pattern, a large octagonal bowl with floral motifs, and a rectangular serving tray with a beaded rim and central pastoral scene. A small oval dish is inscribed with the word MOTHER in blue transfer. Also present are a square lidded tea caddy resting on a stack of matching square plates with lattice borders, a small lidded tureen, a bird-form shaker, and a stack of dinner plates featuring dense floral patterns and decorative borders. Various bowls of differing sizes and patterns complete the collection.
