The lot includes commemorative newspaper prints titled The Birthday Times, specifically dated Monday, March 8, 1937, featuring headlines such as the Hindenburg airship disaster and lists of contemporary celebrity birthdays. Several prints are executed in a three-dimensional decoupage style characteristic of Anton Pieck, depicting detailed historic street scenes and shop interiors. The collection also features a variety of illustrative prints, including coastal scenes with figures in period attire, a portrait of a young girl, and depictions of children in domestic settings with pink mounts. A framed instructional poem regarding bathroom etiquette, titled PLEASE REMEMBER-DON’T FORGET!, is present, alongside a group of small oval-framed prints of birds and their nests and monochromatic prints of historic city scenes.
