A vintage oval-shaped bimetal belt buckle manufactured by Tanside Ltd. The design features a high-relief eagle head in profile with a gold-toned finish, positioned against a silver-toned background decorated with embossed foliate scrolls. The buckle is finished with a rope-twist border. The reverse bears several stamped markings, including TANSIDE LTD ©, SOLID BRASS, a diamond mark containing the initials BBB, and the production or model code TAN/18/87. It is equipped with a standard metal swivel loop and a fixed prong for belt attachment.
