A pair of vintage Italian figurines manufactured by Fontanini, depicting young children or cherubs in a classical style. The figures are constructed from cast resin, often referred to as ivorine, featuring a cream-coloured body with hand-painted details. The first figurine, numbered 715, shows a child holding a blue ball aloft with a small jumping dog at their side. The second figurine, numbered 711, depicts a child holding a black rod accompanied by a black animal, possibly a seal or a dog. Both figures are mounted on integral naturalistic textured bases. The underside of each base is marked with the word DEPOSE, which indicates a registered design, alongside ITALY, the respective model numbers, and the Fontanini spider trademark symbol.
