A collection of gold-plated commemorative medals from the British Banknotes series, attributed to the Windsor Mint. These medals feature colour-printed miniature representations of Bank of England currency on the obverse, including the Series C 10 Shilling note, the Series A Emergency War Time £1 note, the Britannia Series 10 Shilling note, and the Series E Charles Darwin £10 note. The reverses feature a seated allegorical figure within a foliate wreath and a banner inscribed British Banknotes. Each medal is struck with a proof-like finish and is housed in a protective clear plastic capsule.
