A substantial hand-blown studio glass bowl of heavy form. The vessel features a base and body of dark smoky-grey glass, internally decorated with swirling white marbled patterns. The upper rim is finished with an elaborate hand-pulled clear glass fringe, consisting of multiple curved, finger-like projections that form a crown-like motif. This style of glassware is closely associated with mid-century Polish production, particularly by makers such as Makora Krosno or Jozefina, although this piece bears no visible marks.
Diameter: approximately 22cm.
