A contemporary studio pottery bowl of circular form featuring a relief decoration in the interior. The central motif depicts a dragon amongst stylized concentric waves, rendered with intricate detail on the scales and five-clawed feet. The bowl is finished with a pale celadon-green glaze to the interior and exterior, contrasted by a dark brown drip glaze applied around the rim. The base features an unglazed foot ring and a central glazed area with incised markings. To the left are two Asian characters, transcribed as 世芳, and to the right is a cursive signature in Latin script reading Davey.
