A rectangular ceramic wall plaque produced by the Spanish workshop Cerámica del Convento, J.M. The piece is crafted from earthenware and features a high-relief polychrome glazed representation of the Nativity scene. The composition depicts the Holy Family—Mary, Joseph, and the infant Jesus—in a stylised folk-art manner, flanked by an ox, a sheep, and two angels along the left scalloped edge. The figures are housed within a stable structure indicated by a timber-like frame and a red-tiled roof. The decoration utilises thick, textured glazes with intricate impressed patterns on the garments and background. The reverse is finished in a brown slip and features several impressed marks: the literal transcription Ceramica del Convento, J.M., a circular mark containing a stylised four-petalled floral or cross-like motif, and a rectangular stamp reading MADE IN SPAIN.
